Week 4 Accomplishments:
- Greens Contouring approve by Jason Straka on hole #3
- Erosion Control
- Silt Fence Installation - Completed on Holes 1-15
- Earthmoving / Shaping
- Continue to work on holes #3 and #4
- The cartpath location on hole 3 has been identified and shaped by the lead shaper.
- Excavating soil from #5 fairway and relocating to #7 fairway to improve the topography for each hole for drainage purposes and course aesthetics.
- Roto-tilling is completed on holes 3 - 6. A majority of the areas on holes 7 and 8 are complete on the interior of the holes. The exterior of the golf holes remain untouched for additional erosion control and soil stabilization.
- Drainage installation has begun on hole #4
- Clearing Plan
- Completed on holes 3 - 5. Work in progress on holes 6 and 7
- Irrigation
- All Control Boxes and Sprinklers have been removed.
- Turning Points on the golf holes
- Tall PVC pipes have been installed on all the back tee locations, each turning point in the center of the fairways, and the center of the new green locations. The tees are marked with blue paint, fairway points are marked with red paint, and greens are marked with green paint. You will notice the pipes in the progress video in the link below.
Upcoming Week Goals:
- Complete Silt Fence Installation on entire holes 16 - 18
- Earthmoving and Rough Shaping on holes 5, 6, and 7
- Drainage Installation
- Continue on hole 4 and proceed to #3.
- Greens drainage on #3 & #4 will begin.
- Continue to install tree protection fencing
- Continue Clearing Plan on holes 6 - 8
- Removal of existing greens mix on hole 1. Hole #9 will remain until they start working on #10 with the large excavators.
- Continue to remove old cartpath. The large piles that you see in the videos or on the course are only temporary.
