A couple of key changes to the 9th will be the removal of the mounds and ridges which currently block the view of the lake edge. The reduced punishment of a ball being kicked off of one the side slopes improves the overall playability as well as surface drainage. Ultimately the view of the water will now be seen from the tee and make for a more dramatic hole.
