Progress Update #47 - Week 49 - 7/24/2015

Week 49 Accomplishments 

• Grassing:
• Hole #1 - Tee Complex is 100% grassed
• Hole #9
• Green Complex is 100% grassed
• Sod has been laid along a portion of the lake bank
• Hole #10 - 95% grassed
• Hole #11 - Tee Complex is 100% grassed

• Bunker Construction:
• Hole #9
• Fairway - 50% complete
• Hole #1
• Fairway bunker 40% complete
• Hole #10 - All bunkers are 100% complete
• Landscape Installation
• Additional Bougainvilleas have been planted between #1 tees and #9 Green Complex
• Ornamental Grasses have been planted on the back side of the left hand fairway and green-side  bunkers.
• Two large oaks trees have been planted near #10 green cartpath and #11 tee complex.

Upcoming Week Goals:

• Grassing: 
• Holes #1 - Sod and Sprig the all remaining areas
• (Goal by the end of the week is to be 100% complete) 
• Hole #9 - Sod and Sprig the fairway portion of the hole 
• (Goal by the end of the week is to be 100% complete)

• Bunker Construction:
• Complete Better Billy Bunker liner and sand installation on #9 Fairway, #1 Fairway, and #1 Green-side.

Look Ahead:

• The week of August 3rd:
• Complete the grassing on hole #2 (Final hole!).
• Start to complete the close-out punch list 
• The week of August 10th:
• Complete punch list items and begin to reduce construction staff and equipment.

Did you know:

The 1st phase of greens have been taken off the "grow-in" agronomic program and are now being maintained as if they are nearly ready for play. All greens are being mowed at the same height of cut and are being mowed at a minimum of 3 - 4 times a week.
