Design Plan - Hole #7

A couple of key changes in the design of the 7th hole will soften the dogleg while reducing the potential to enter the water hazard on the left hand side of the hole. The tees have been pushed to the left, the large mound has been replaced by two large fairway bunkers, and series of pine trees will be removed and replaced with bunkers. Finally, the green has been moved back slightly adding a few extra yards for the longer hitters.

The design does not eliminate the pond but lowers the fairway elevation to open up the visibility to the pond. A unique risk-reward strategy is created with the centerline bunker, new green angle, along with the existing trees and lakes. The green will also be lowered in elevation and pushed back without comprising safety or playability. 

Design Plan - Hole #5

The changes to the 5th hole are slight with the focus revolving around the lake surrounding the green. The current state of the lake is not acceptable and will be addressed by removing excessive silt and unsightly vegetation. Similar to the 4th hole, the wooden bulkhead will be removed and the turf will be installed down the the waters edge. A landscape bed will be installed to separate the 4th green from the 5th tee.

Design Plan - Hole #4

The current 4th hole has little to no bailout to the right with a forced carry to reach the green. The bulkhead in front of the green will be removed and turf will be installed down to the waters edge. The new design will have plenty of bailout to the right of the green with the tee locations remaining in a similar location to the current layout with elimination of several of the frequently unused tees.

Design Plan - Hole #3

A couple of key changes on hole #3 are the large fairway bunker on the left hand side  which is now a replaced with a grass bunker and the corner of the lake has been filled in to improve playability. Two bunkers have been positioned along the lake to save golf balls from bouncing in. The green has been elongated with a small bunker positioned right in the front of the green. Similar to the other holes there will be selective thinning and pruning of the Oaks on both sides of the golf hole.

On hole #2 you'll notice the fairway has been widen and the fairway bunkers have been strategically placed for those who like to challenge the corner. The large Oaks on the left side will be be selectively thinned and pruned as well as the line of Oaks along the right side of the Hole. There will also be a chipping area that surrounds the entire greens complex.

The most noticeable change will be the elimination of the water crossing the fairway. There will be two While not affecting the better golfers the change will certainly help higher handicaps. The large fairway bunker on the left hand side of the fairway has been eliminated while the right hand fairway bunker has increased in size.
